Good Morning everyone...Hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday and are feeling blessed!! We Are ... Peggy felt pretty good all day, although I sometime struggle to know as she never complains..some of the family was over and she just sort of relax and rested most of the day. Nurse was by and started her infusion..Peggy started some more meds last night I am not sure but I think we have more meds than Walgreen's now LOL..Peggy was one that hardly ever took anything in her life up until 2008 but I think she is catching up..but she rest pretty good last night she did say her stomach felt bloated and a little upset so I ran down and got her something to eat in the middle of the night but all in all she slept well, So we are so blessed. We go back to Chicago today to get her Blood counts checked and see the Doctors and they will also check her fluids and if we need some they will administer up there and watch them..hoping for a short day but who knows..we now take things "One moment at a time" Well here is Today's Funny stories ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Exercise for people over 50 (It's never too late to start.) Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side. With a 5-lb potato bag in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, and then relax. Each day you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer. After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb potato bags. Then try 50-lb potato bags and then eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-lb potato bag in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute. (I'm at this level.) (sometimes I almost make myself sick the way the I drive LOL ...I miss her driving) Any way we got there went for the Blood draw and while we were waiting she said can you check if we have any messages on Care pages...WOW!!! I opened it and we begin to read and it was incredible it was so awesome... We laugh would discuss memories, We cried with Joy to think of all the people that are praying and thinking of us...It made the day so much better for us. Thanks to everyone who wrote. Well last night was a rough night for Peggy.. She wanted me to go down and get the "stomatitus cocktail Medicine" (which if you ask Peggy about it she will tell you how much she hates it) so I know she is really hurting if she ask for it.
