Peggy (and all those who contributed yesterday) helped feed some needy mommas and babies and caretakers at an Emergency Shelter in Benton Harbor. They were very grateful for the contribution of green beans, corn, pork & beans, au gratin potatoes, buns, and desserts. Thank you to all who contributed!

Peggy, you will always be that beacon of light. Where ever you were there was light and laughter. You taught us all how to enjoy life. You were an excellent teacher. Your love of life and each moment will always be a treasure. I will always consider you a sort of "sister" due to the closeness we experienced as you grew up. I feel that you have made a wise life choice in Marlon and you really enjoyed family life

Marlon and girls,
So sorry to read about your loss. I know Peggy was a fighter as remember the conversation we had the last time I heard Marlon sing in Bridgman. I never knew she was a Yooper (one from the upper pennisula of Mi.) Me too!
I had the pleasure of hearing Peggy and Marlon sing when they would come and sing to the residents of Golden Place, now the Willows. I had worked with Marlon for 6 years and never

The Postal Service would regularly hold Postal Customer Council events. One day one of these training events was being held in my building and people were coming in from companies around SW Michigan. I was directing customers to the training room when lo and behold one of those customers was Peggy. It was such a pleasant surprise to see my beautiful, bubbly cousin in my building. She was so outgoing and friendly. It certainly brightened my day at work. Heaven has gained so much with the addition of our Peggy.

Jessica, Jimmer, Marla & Marlon,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Your mother was such a strong person from the very beginning of all of this and I can only imagine how difficult it was for the entire family over the past years. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. All my love, Shelby

I only had the honor of knowing Peggy for about 10 hears, but what an honor it was! From the time I met her, I felt I had known her forever. She made everyone feel comfortable and always had a beautiful smile and kind words. She truly did sing like an Angel and I loved to hear her and Marlon sing together. I was also honored to be a part of her journey through the Care Pages and we all

Peggy will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. "To know her was to love her!" What a priviledge to have been her friend over the years. She was so full of life and "spunk". What an example of courage and faith! Our thoughts and prayers are with you Marlon, Jessica, Marla, and the rest of the family. Love, Sondra and Rick

Jessica - you and your family are in our prayers. "To be absent from the body, is to be present with the LORD", what an encouraging promise. One day soon, you will be reunited with your mother. Marlon, "Standing on the Promises of God"....that song rings so true! We are praying that God's love and peace continue to cover you all.

Marla, Jamie and family,
I am sad to hear that Peggy lost her fight with cancer. And fight she did! for Peggy she won the battle. She is forever young and beautiful. and with the Lord she loved so much. It is a hard day to say so long to Mom, believe me I know. But I take comfort in knowing she is always happy and watching over us all. in time the pain and tears will turn to smiles and laughter . She will be with us thru her girls and her grandbabies. Cherish her memories be stong for your Dad and Uncle
much love to all of you

Marlon, Connie and I would like to express our deepest sympathys to you and your dughters. We were talking about you and Peggy, and when some people become friends, you never really remember when you become friends with them, it just seems you have always known them and been a friend...Peggy and you were two of them people, we don't remember meeting you two, but it seems we have always known you two. Unfrotunately we haven't seen you two much in the last few years. Just know that we always kept Peggy in our thoughts during her courageous fight....

Peg, you were more like a sister than a cousin to me. I am happy for your "promotion" into heaven & can only picture you with your wings, beaming & singing! I love you & will miss you so much but one of these days I will be laughing with you again.
To all the family, my prayers for you that God will give you the comfort & the strength to go forward every minute as you need it. I know that Peg has left a huge void & a hole in everyone's heart.
Love & Peace,

Well Marlon and family, it's the end of phase and the beginning of another,
as the song says " I can only imagine ", all the glorious sights that Peggy is experiencing. I wonder if the Lord Jesus took Peggy be the hand and escorted her around the throne and then declared to the Father this is one of our praisers. Marlon God bless you and your family with the peace and comfort that can only come from Him.

What a life she did live
Oh the joy she did give
Just as the seasons come and go
She always let you know
Nomatter how big or small
She was proud of you one and all
Sometimes when the storm wuld roll in
With her you knew you had a great friend
I'm sure she is dancing on the streets of gold
No more pain and won't grow old
Love Curt, Nancy and family
Looking down on you from above
I sure hope you can feel the love
As you listen to the birds that sing
Smile and remember all the joy they bring
In the spring when the flowers start to bloom
They help will take away all the gloom
So please don't cry for me no more
I've made it to that golden shore
Please remember that this is true
That I really did Love you
This is blog where you can leave your memories of Peggy...Thanks so much to all who have been such a great part of our life
